“撷”撮采线结之,而后染色

是世界非物质遗产

中国传统手工艺之一

一抹靛色晕染千年

周庄蓝布让人魂牵梦萦

在烟雨绵绵的冬日

在老师的引导下

孩子们将古老的扎染工艺请进了课堂

让我们跟随孩子探索的脚步

开启艺术之旅


The art of tie-dying fabric dates back to the Qin and Han Dynasty

"Ye" The fabric is bunched together, bound with yarn, and then dyed.

It is a traditional Chinese handicraft that has moved beyond China to become a part of an overall global heritage.

Splashes of indigo bridge the present day to thousands of years of the past.

Entangled dreams and rainy winter days seem to manifest themselves in the ripples of the Zhou zhuang blue cloth.

The children, under the guidance of the teacher, brought an ancient old-world handicraft back into the classroom.

Let's follow in the footsteps of our children as they take off on a journey of art and ancient custom.



Step 1:多种渠道识扎染

课前,孩子们自主查阅了关于“扎染”这一传统而又独特的染色工艺。“我知道我知道,扎染是我国的传统工艺!”

Before class, the children independently looked up the traditional and unique dyeing process of "tie-dye". "I know I know, tie-dye is the traditional craft of our country!"


“我们可以用纱、线、绳等工具,对布料进行捆扎、染色。”

"We can use yarn, thread, rope and other tools to bind and dye the cloth."


在课堂上,大家开心地和同学分享他们查到的知识。

Children eagerly share the knowledge they found with other students.



Step2:迫不及待试扎染

老师通过精湛的扎染视频激起学生学习的兴趣,制定了令孩子们跃跃欲试的探究路径,根据需要对小组或个人进行指导,引发思考,并为他们提供意见反馈。

Following a simple introduction of the handicraft, the children cannot wait to begin dying cloth on their own.

Crumple, fold, roll and squeeze a piece of white fabric into shapes. Then sew it with a needle or wrap it with a rubber band to create "lumps” in the fabric.


做好准备后,孩子们立即动手尝试操作。

将一块块白色织物撮皱、折叠、翻卷、挤揪,使之成为一定形状,然后用针缝或者橡皮筋缠扎,让布料变成一串串富有神奇魔力的“疙瘩”。

The students practice making the “knot in one’s heart” pattern. They tie up the proper shape with needles or rubber band to turn these cloth into magical “knot in one’s heart”.


随后将扎好"疙瘩"的布料放入桶里浸染,待适当浸染后,将“疙瘩”解开进行晾晒,织物上即可出现意想不到的花纹,这样的作品,你喜欢吗?

Then the students will tie up the cloth into the bucket dip dye. When appropriately dip dyed, and untie "knot in one's heart" for air drying, so the fabric can appear in unexpected patterns! Do you like it?


简简单单的水彩笔可以将一张餐巾纸变得色彩斑斓。

Simple color pens can make a napkin beautiful.


问渠哪得清如许,为有源头活水来。“一幅幅作品,一条条帕子,一件件手工,都已显示出艺术小精灵的原始生命力,他们是美的发现者、创造者、表达者。”

The canal appears clear when it has a magnificent source of water.  The artistic ingenuity of the children lends itself to the creation of unique pieces of art, and beautiful handmade crafts. The children discovered the beauty of an ancient tradition, and in turn, were able to express and create beauty of their own.


Step 3:奇思妙想学“点染”

使用深浅不同的色彩在画面上连点带染,落笔成形,不能涂改。通过色彩的干湿浓淡变化,笔法的刚柔、轻重来表现画面的构图与作者的情感。这便是从扎染衍生出来的“点染”技法。

A brush dipped in different shades of color applied evenly on the picture takes can express “continuous movement.” The teachers lauded the exemplary painting techniques, commenting on the “fine brushwork”.


勤于思考、勇于尝试,用全新的视角去审视和探索这一工艺。在老师的指导下,他们与同伴一起分工合作,将那些固有的定义、范例、想法通通打破,在学习的过程中孩子们通过对不同种类材料的尝试,从“学以致用”到“用以致学”,领悟到了艺术语言。

Diligent thinking, risk-taking, and new perspectives enhance the examination and exploration of this process. Under the guidance of teachers, students work with their peers to break down the inherent definitions, examples and ideas. In the process of learning, children learn the language of art by experimenting with different kinds of materials. They both "learn to use" in order to acquire skills, and "use to learn" to understand and appreciate art.


有趣的课内外活动,丰富的学习资源,孩子们在思索和质疑、检验和尝试中不断查阅资料、采集数据、最终得出结论、形成观点,实现真正的理解。学生主动参与学习的过程,促使他们养成良好的学习习惯,以自己的‘进度’管理学习,以自己的方式理解世界。

Interesting activities both in and outside of class, and rich learning resources, encourage children to think and question, test and research, collect data, and finally come to conclusions. From this point, they can form their own views, and achieve real understanding. Students participate in the learning process on their own initiative, manage learning at their own pace, and come to understand the world in their own way.


Step4:异彩纷呈展扎染!

钱包,戒指,项链,裙子,还能这么玩?在孩子的艺术展上,我和我的小伙伴们都惊呆了。

Purses, rings, necklaces, dresses - what else? The children put on a most impressive art exhibition.


赤橙黄绿青蓝紫,孩子们用一幅幅作品体现着他们对颜色、图形的理解。艺术家、色彩搭配家就在我们身边呐。

All the colours of the rainbow. The children’s art reflected their understanding of color and graphics. Artists surround us.
