11月21日，苏城外国语学校小学部“ 网罗好声音 ”校园主持人大赛圆满落幕。经过初赛、复赛层层选拔，激烈角逐，最终25位同学一路过关斩将，获得了金话筒奖。

On November 21st, the “Best Voice Competition” in Soochow Foreign Language School Primary School has come to a successful end. After several rounds’ competition, 25 students won the Gold Microphone Award in the end.

本次比赛由各班级推荐100名学生到年级组，再由年级组的老师进行竞选。

The competition is run as follows: 100 students are recommended by the class to the year group for election.

竞选中，评委老师对参赛者的基本功——气息、节奏、停顿、情感等各个维度进行考评。

During the election, the judges gave high requirements as to the basic skills of hosting such as breathing, rhythm, pause and emotions. 

经过初选的一系列比拼后，共有50名同学顺利入围决赛。

After a series of preliminary rounds, 50 students have made it to the final.

决赛前夕，学校特组织入围的50名选手开展网络点赞评分活动，相信家长们在刷抖音时，一定会与他们不期而遇。

Before the final contest, the school organized the network competition, letting the 50 finalists to win thumb-ups online. Maybe you would meet them unexpectedly on your phone.

有的选手“创意自荐”，有的选手幽默诙谐，有的选手诗意盎然，有的选手才华横溢。同学们各显神通，以独特的方式向大家展示最好的自己。

Some of candidates are creative, some of them are humorous, some are poetic, and some are talented. They all show their best to everyone in a unique way.

主持是一门语言的艺术，它旨在调动听众情绪，并引起听众的共鸣，从而传达出你所要表达的思想、观点、感悟。

Hosting is the art of language. It aims to arouse the audience's emotion and their sympathy, so as to convey your thoughts, views and feelings.

决赛中，一年级的小主持人们站在台前丝毫不怯场，用语言和动作展现孩子们不一样的朝气与活力！

In the final, the young hosts of Year One were not afraid to stand on the stage. They showed their vigor and vitality with their words and actions!

同学们以朗诵、演讲等多种语言形式展现，将古圣名家语录，经典诗词歌赋予鲜活灵动之气，让我们领略到了“腹有诗书气自华”的风采！

Students demonstrated their talents in hosting with diversified ways including reciting, speech and classic poetry that let us enjoy the grace and beauty of ancient culture. We were fascinated by the glamour of their performances.

现场考问环节更是稳中求胜，评委老师以简短精辟的问题来考察选手的应变能力和临场发挥能力，同学们机智应对，均能在有效的时间内做出最好的解答！

On-the-spot Q&A highly requires their mental stability. Judges asked short and brief questions to test the performers' ability to adapt to the situation and play on the spot. Students all responded with tact and confidence!
