即大洋洲、非洲 、欧洲、美洲 、亚洲。

Recently, this “boarding card” received great popularity by the PYP students in Soochow Foreign Language School. With this card you can tour the five continents of the world at school.

以世界为教材，以问题为导入，以概念为驱动，以探究为主要学习方式，UOI超学科主题探究课程是苏城外国语学校的特色课程之一。

而这张“登机卡”的设计者正是

 SCFLS-PYP小学三（12）国际班师生们 

经过6周的探究，他们为校领导和协调员

展示了一场别样的UOI结题展

Developed in local and global contexts, tuned in by questions, driven by concepts and based on inquiry are the main approaches to learning in UOI of Soochow Foreign Language School.This boarding card was co-designed by the students and teachers of Class 12 Year 3. After a six-week inquiry, they presented an amazing UOI exhibition to the school leaders.

什么是旅行？人们如何旅行？人们为什么旅行？小至一次周末出游，大到航海时代人类对地球大陆的探索。在老师们的引导下，孩子们围绕“旅行”进行了全方位的学习。What is a journey? How do we travel? Why do people travel? From a trip in the weekend with family, to the Age of Discovery in history, students carried out the inquiry around "traveling".

孩子们跟随老师一起转变观念，不是“老师要我学什么”，而是“我从现有材料中可以学到什么”、“我还可以自己去搜集哪些信息”等角度出发进行探究学习。

Students’ mindset has changed from “Teacher wants me to to learn” to “What can I learn and where can I get more information”. 

孩子们的海报内容丰富、图文并茂，并且，都是孩子们的纯手工打造，他们自己收集材料、排版设计、写文字、贴图片……让人不由惊叹他们的无限潜力。

Their hand made posters are rich in contents, words and pictures.

结题展以“环球旅行”为主题，由每个小组从七大洲的地域风貌、人文美食、文化习俗等方面进行轮流介绍，并用中英文做演讲报告。

The exhibition was a "World Travel" with each group taking the audience to a continent and introducing the food, scenery and culture in Chinese and English.

演讲稿的内容均由孩子们原创，他们从老师提供的材料中抽取信息，并且回家利用网络资源为讲稿作补充，在一遍遍的打磨修改中让内容更加具体、明确。同时，每个小组都创设了互动环节。

The speeches were written by students, they gathered information in the class and used online resources to add more information at home.

孩子们用心展示，老师们认真聆听。

They also designed small activities to engage the audience such as African dancing, Australian dot painting, Himalayan monster and etc.

总校长李春雷先生对本次UOI探究活动表示高度认可，并从探究的魅力、全纳的魅力和语言的魅力三方面进行了总结讲话。

General principal Mr. David Li spoke highly of the exhibition and commended the beauty of inquiry, inclusion and language through out this activity.

在苏城外，每一单元的UOI探究都会有一份报告单，家长们也参与其中，进行了反馈。

At the end of every UOI, Soochow Foreign Language School also provides a report with parents comments to get them involved.
