幼儿园到小学的跨越，是每一个孩子成长道路上需要经历的第一个关口。为了让他们顺利完成角色转换，从容地步入新的学习阶段，近期，SCFLS-PYP幼儿园大班的孩子们在老师的带领下，走进了小学部，和小学生活来了一次“亲密接触”。

The leap from kindergarten to primary school is the first major step that every child experience on the path of growth. In order for them to successfully complete the transition to the next level and enter the new stage of learning without any concern. On the morning of May 13, 2021, the children from the SCFLS PYP kindergarten, under the leadership of their teachers, visited the primary school and began the process of getting comfortable with their soon to be new surroundings.

Today, the children followed the lead of Teacher Chen and attempted a new skill in the field of traditional Chinese painting. Faced with different forms and materials from the usual way of painting, the children were full of interest and desire to experiment. When the children held the writing brush and smudged a little flower with green leaves on the soft rice paper, they all exclaimed "WOW!"

解锁课堂，体验小学探究课、CAS课，挺直的后背，有爱的互动，宝贝们的眼里闪烁着激动的光芒，宝贝们兴奋地说：“我都想马上成为一名小学生啦！”

With straight backs and loving interactions, the eyes of the the children were shining with excitement, and they said with excitement：“ I want to be a primary school student right away! ”

从幼儿园到小学，不仅是身份的转变，更是一个教育系统向另一个教育系统的跨越。幼小衔接活动如同搭建了过渡之桥，让孩子们身临其境，真正地了解小学环境、体验小学课程、感受小学生活，为他们自信地迈入小学积蓄力量！

From kindergarten to primary school, it is not only a change of identity, but also a leap from one education system to another. The preschool activities are like building a bridge for the children to acclimatize to their new surroundings. It allows the children an opportunity to experience primary school and immerse themselves in the new environment, to experience the primary school curriculum, and feel the daily cycle of primary school life.
