裁判一声哨响，比赛开始了！看，一个学生悄悄潜入后场，接到一个长传，马上转身一个三步上篮，球进了！听！尖叫声、呐喊声、助威声，声声入耳。

The game began with a whistle from the judge. Look, here was a student sneaking into backcourt and caught a long ball. He turned around and did a “running jump shot”. GOAL! Listen! The audiences were shouting and screaming!

学生队伍一鼓作气，立刻把分差拉到了近16分之多，士气旺盛，斗志昂扬。赛场的风云突变，教师队也措手不及。

The student team was just pushing for the goal and won 16 points ahead of their rival. The teacher team members spread out their arms and shrugged their shoulders.  

初生牛犊不怕虎，半场过后，教师队伍仍落后十多分。稍作调整后，烽烟再度燃起，群雄逐鹿，最终比分为54:50，学生军以4分之差败北。

"Newborn calves are not afraid of tigers." The teacher was still 10 points behind. After a little tweaking, the game has entered the white-hot stage. The game ended up with 54-50 on aggregate. The teacher team beat the student team by 4 points.

比赛结束后，师生握手祝福，合影留念。本次师生友谊赛可谓跌宕起伏，精彩异常。

After the match, teachers and students shook hands and took a group photo. This friendly competition was a wonderfully dramatic game, one that will be remembered for years for both the students and the teachers.

有这样一场击剑比赛，在橙黄橘绿的秋日流露温情……

经过一个月的筹备，2019年第一届“苏城杯”校园击剑比赛温馨开赛。

We also held a fencing competition in this gold autumn.

看，剑道上一名运动员左手握剑单指着对手，上身微弓，摆出一副要进攻的姿势。说时迟那时快，就在对手要准备进攻的时候这名运动员突然双腿发力，一剑刺向对手，对手急忙变攻为守，丝毫没有看出他的手忙脚乱。

Look! There was an athlete ready to attack, holding a sword and hunching over. Just then, when his rival was about to attack, the athlete suddenly pushed his leg and stabs. His rival turned attack into defense, without any panic and hurry. 

台下同学赞叹运动员的剑法精通灵活。而这名运动员却运用粘字诀的方式紧贴对手，丝毫不给其还手的机会。

The whole audience gasped with admiration. This athlete fixed on his rival and kept the opponents guessing by varying the attack tactics.

经过几轮角逐，最终12班沈月祺和8班廖一宸分别摘得一年级组和二三年级组桂冠；12班周鑫奕和8班陈朴希分别荣获一年级组和二三年级组二等奖；9班朱宸灏、杨明璇和9班屈婉婷、8班周菡逸分别获得一年级组和二三年级组三等奖。

After several rounds of competition, Yueqi Shen from Class 12 and Yichen Liao from Class 8 won the champion of Year 1 and Year 2&3 respectively. Xinyi Zhou from Class 12 and Puxi Chen from Class 8 won the second place of Year 1 and Year 2&3 respectively. Chenhao Zhu from Class 9, Mingxuan Yang from Class 9, Wanting Qu from Class 9 and Yihan Zhou from Class 8 won the third place of Year 1 and Year 2&3 respectively. 

一书，写尽世间繁华；一剑，舞出青春优雅。比赛虽已落幕，年轻的生命继续挥舞光芒！

Our students are developing not only in academic but also aiming to be healthy and sporty. Although the sports events have already come into the end, the students in SCFLS are still full of energy and passion.

所谓文能提笔安天下，武能上马定乾坤。今天的少年们静则遨游于知识的海洋，动能飞驰于自由的球场，劳逸结合，动静皆宜。

People who are endowed with civil and martial virtues are achievers. Nowadays, teenagers not only absorb the knowledge in the ocean of knowledge but also take an active part in sports. They combine exertion and rest in school life.

球在运动员们的脚上仿佛变得轻盈起来，一个飞踢，球便摆脱地心引力飞入天际，然后划出一条完美的抛物线砸向球场，这一球瞬间点燃了全场后援团们的热情。

Football seemed to be lightsome under the control of the players. The ball soared into the sky after players kicked it. When the ball touched the court, the crowd cheered.

获胜有望的球队更加信心满满斗志昂扬，处于劣势的球队也不甘示弱，拼尽全力也绝不放弃。

Seeded football team was more confident but the team that had the faith in underdog was reluctant to show weakness. 

球场上的他们，迎着阳光，或伺机而动，或顺势而为，以脚，以头，以身体直面球的重击，汗水与疼痛交融，信心与决心汇集，勇敢的少年们，向前冲吧！

Players on the court strove for the champion in the sun. They are brave and have combatant spirit, so don’t hesitate any more while the young forward.

花落谁家已不重要，每一个飞踢，每一次扑倒，每一个射门···这些画面已经定格在我们心中，感谢每一位参与者为比赛洒下的汗水，付出的努力，倾注的激情，苏城外有你们，真好！  

It is not important to discuss who is champion and runner-up in the end. However, each of their actions is kept in our mind. Thanks for each player and their efforts. It is so nice for our school to have these young teenagers.
