About 150 schools with over 1,500 candidates participated in the 2019 Teenager Creative Programming Competition of Suzhou. The three major projects were segmented into 17 zones and 58 sessions, attracting numbers of media press to make reports. 

苏城外国语学校积极响应教育部发布的《教育信息化和网络安全工作要点》，紧跟教育前沿，招聘选拔来自上海师范大学等优秀科技教师，在平时课堂中逐步将编程AI内容纳入到教学中，目前学校开设有3D打印、创意编程、机器人、木工、陶艺、车模、空模等特色科技类课程11种，为同学们科技技能的发展提供了有力的基础保障。

In response to the documents released by the Ministry of Education, Soochow Foreign Language School keeps up with the forefront of education, and recruits and selects excellent science and technology teachers, thus gradually integrating programming and AI into the class teaching. At present, our school offers about 11 special science courses, such as 3D printing, creative programming, robot, woodworking, pottery, car model, aero model and so on, guaranteeing students development of scientific skills. 

除2019年苏州市创意编程竞赛外，今年我校学生在科技老师的带领下，相继参加了第11届上海模型节竞赛，2019年江苏省青少年科技模型大赛人工智能专项赛苏州选区等多项赛事。同时我校举办的科技节活动，设置了机器人竞赛，打字竞赛，创意编程竞赛等，旨在为学生搭建多元化，多种类平台。希望通过实战锻炼，促进学生更快提高技术水平，在竞赛中与他人协作，懂得关爱，乐于表达，最终在反思中获得成长。

Apart from this competition, our students also participated in many competitions such as the 11th Model Competition in Shanghai, 2019 Teenager AI Model Competition of Jiangsu Province, Suzhou Division. Meanwhile, our school also organizes the Science and Technology Festival with some in-school competitions like the robot contest, typing competition, creative programming competition. We aim to build a diversified platform for our students, and to promote their development through real practices. These students would learn to cooperate and collaborate, to be caring and to be willing to express themselves, thus developing through reflection.

每次参赛前，为巩固参赛学生的编程水平，学校科技中心的老师们特地利用晚课，社团时间，为学生开设个体化辅导，答疑解惑，攻坚克难，为孩子们参赛提供了强有力的技术保障。

Before the competition, teachers of Science and Technology Centre made use of the evening classes and club periods to offer individualized guidance to the students to enhance their programming level. 

在此前的第11届上海模型节竞赛活动中，我校董一啸，卢宣铄，邹佳妤，谢逸霖、邢嘉怡，刘佳宇、魏高峰、姚震宇及臧彦博共9名学生首次参赛，全员获奖。在青少年科技模型竞赛中，学生们表现突出，勇于突破自己。在科技节活动中涌现出一批富有潜力和创造性思维的学生。他们表现出IB学习者身上的积极探究，敢于挑战，勤于思考，善于反思的优秀品质。

Also, in the 11th Model Competition in Shanghai, 9 students from our school won prizes in their first competition. In the teenager scientific model competition, students made breakthroughs with their excellent performance. During the Science and Technology Festival, a group of innovative students have also shown their attributes as inquirers, risk-takers and thinkers.

每一次肯定都将助力理想和信念起飞。
