近期，苏城外国语学校三年级的小小探究者们，围绕“旅程中带来新的发现和认知”这一中心思想，开启了为期6周的探究之旅。

Soochow Foreign Language School is committed to developing IB learners who are inquirers, thinkers and communicators.Year 3 students inquired into the central idea “Journey brings new discoveries and understandings” in the past 6 weeks.

在结题展中，小小探究者们

需要运用所学、各施所长，

 让每个班集体变成一个个国家，

还配备了精彩绝伦的演讲和丰富多彩的活动。

In the unit exhibition, they need to demonstrate their learning by setting up their classroom as a country and introducing its culture to others.

“旅程”正式开启！

小小探究者们开始在班级间“旅行”，

 整场活动由学生主导、学生分享展示探究成果。

既有中英文介绍，还有交流互动，设置的各项闯关、抢答和打卡环节，充分体现了探究的能动性和同伴支持。

The exhibition begins. Students “travel” between classes. The whole process was led by students. They share their findings, introduce in both Chinese and English, and interact with others through games, Q&A and seals collection, which fully demonstrate students’ agency and peer support.

“旅行家”们每进入一个国家，

都会学习当地的一句礼貌用语。

Little travelers learn how to greet others in different languages.

“小小导游”身着特色服装，绘声绘色地讲解当地的衣食住行，吸引着不少“旅行家”们的目光。

Little hosts introduce local culture in traditional clothes.

“旅行家”们十分给力，认真聆听“导游”的讲解介绍，积极回答问题。

通过探究，小小探究者们

了解到世界原来这么精彩，

不但拓展了认知，提高了信息交换能力，

更增强了对世界的热爱。

Through inquiry, they extend their learning, improve the ability of information exchange and more importantly promote their love for the world.

这次的结题展让我们知道了每个国家都有自己独特的文化，各地的美食都有自己独特的烹饪方式。我们班级探究的国家是土耳其，这个国家的历史很悠久，美食种类繁多，热气球旅行很吸引人，有机会一定来一次真正的旅行。

我们班代表的国家是希腊。通过前期探究，我们了解到希腊的一些文化，包括它的节日、禁忌事项、国旗国徽，还有它的自然地理环境等。我们把这些做成了海报，贴在教室的外面，这让我们很有成就感。

在UOI结题展上，我和同学们去了“巴基斯坦”和“希腊”，通过观看视频和有趣的问答活动，对这两个国家有了一些了解。我知道巴基斯坦是一个清真之国，希腊首都雅典有着悠久的历史……这两个都是“一带一路”的国家，是我们中国的好朋友。

我是班级UOI结题展的英语主持人，紧张又兴奋。我提前准备好了主持稿，牢牢记住了哈萨克语“你好”、“再见”的读音。在主持和演讲的过程中，同学们提出了很多问题，我们主持人团队都给他们做了详细的解答。今后，我会努力做一个知识渊博的“小小探究者”。

差异带来了多元，了解促进理解

只有互相包容与尊重

文化的互通和社会的和谐才可期

我们对于多元文化探究的脚步

始于此，但不止于此，

接下来，让我们一起期待更多的探索吧！

Difference brings diversity, understanding promotes communication. Only through mutual understanding and respect can we achieve a better and more peaceful world. Our exploration of multiculturalism starts from here and will continue in the future inquiry.
